Things to Do in Sag Harbor & The Hamptons (Summer 2026)
Captain Paul and crew will set the stage with stories of a lost treasure buried in the nearby sand dunes! Armed with a secret treasure map, we’ll anchor and head to shore so the kids can search the beach for a key to the ancient treasure chest. Once the hunt is complete, each little treasure hunter will get to claim a portion of the loot & head home with their very own bag of pirate's booty!
New Hamptons Kids Activities for 2026
Our Sag Harbor and Amagansett family boat rental adventures now include an optional Haunted Castle tour. Bring the entire family—including your pets! You can bring your dog along for swimming right off the catamaran in the bay, followed by coastal shore adventures to hunt for buried treasure and inspect the mysterious castle grounds.
Seashell Hunt
Comb the shores of our favorite secret spot for some of the best sea treasures that can be found in the Hamptons! Find perfectly formed conch and scallop shells, an array of colored and patterned rocks, and an endless supply of fun sea finds.
Moms and friends can sit back and relax with a glass of wine on board Valkyrie while our crew takes the kids to shore to hunt for special shells. Best of all, the kiddos keep their finds to commemorate their special day at sea!
Haunted Castle Excursion
Built over 150 years ago, the historic granite Cedar Point Lighthouse provides the perfect backdrop for our Haunted Castle Excursion. Captain Paul and his crew will set the stage with legends of the castle and spooky tales told by local fishermen over the last century as we make our way to the beach!
We’ll anchor nearby and take the dinghy to shore to explore the grounds. Parents are welcome to join the island landing or remain relaxing on deck while our crew entertains the kids. Shell collection is highly encouraged, and it is a perfect place to dip your toes in the water—making the Haunted Castle Excursion a favorite for the whole family.

"Perfect experience!!!! We could not have asked for a better experience... Captain Paul was cool, easygoing and friendly. We were running a little bit late and he was super easy about it - he even let us stay on the boat a bit longer to make up for the time which was completely unnecessary! The boat itself was immaculate - multiple clean bathrooms! He has tons of beanbags for lounging and he will play any music you want! He even had iphone chargers to use!!! It was the a great day sailing around sag harbor - he stopped for a while to let us jump off and swim which was so fun! We were a group of 10 and we ALL haven't stopped raving about our day at sea. We cannot wait to do it again :)"
